Dr Marcel Safier
M.B., B.S.
Dr Safier graduated from the University of Queensland in 1984 and gained a wide range of medical and surgical experience in 5 years at the Royal Brisbane, QE11 and Greenslopes Hospitals. Since 1990 he has practised at a number of southside medical practices and he is interested in all aspects of family medicine. He has considerable training and interest in the areas of blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.
Dr Dean Warmington
M.B., B.S. BHSc. F.R.A.C.G.P.
Dr Warmington achieved a Bachelor of Health Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, then graduated from medicine from University of QLD in 2002 and is a Fellow of the RACGP. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice, in particular, musculoskeletal medicine and cardiology.
Dr Mary Rose Joseph
M.B., B.S.
Dr Joseph graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 and worked in hospitals in Brisbane, rural New South Wales and the UK before entering General Practice in 1987. She has wide experience in all aspects of family medicine, with particular interests in women’s Health, Paediatrics and skin cancers / minor surgery.
Dr Violette Hanna
MBchB., F.R.A.C.G.P.
Dr Hanna graduated from the Alexandria University in Egypt in 1987, and has gained a wealth of experience in Egypt, New Zealand and Australia. She is a Fellow of the RACGP and has been practicing medicine in Australia since 2003. Dr Hanna has worked at the Prince Charles Hospital, as well as rural general practices throughout Queensland. She is interested in all aspects of family care, with a particular interest and experience in women’s health.
Dr Fiona Wong
B.Sc., M.B., B.S., F.R.A.C.G.P.
Dr Wong graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. She then worked at Toowoomba Base Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital – gaining a broad range of skills required for General Practice. Fiona is known by her patients to have a warm personality and is dedicated to delivering high quality holistic care. She is passionate about provide continuity of care and promoting positive change.
Fiona enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Her specialties include skin, preventative health and chronic disease management, and women’s and children’s health.
Dr Jan Milford
M.B., B.S. (Hons) F.R.A.C.G.P.
Dr Milford grew up in Queensland and is a graduate of the University of Queensland and a Fellow of the RACGP. She has worked at the Ipswich Hospital in a range of specialties. She is interested in all areas of family medicine, especially women’s health.
Dr Naomi Bowers
F.R.A.C.G.P., MBChB., Dip. Pal Med.
Dr Bowers graduated from the University of Liverpool Medical School. Dr Bowers competed her Diploma in Palliative Medicine in 2009. Dr Bowers is actively involved in training the next generation of doctors and medical students.
She is interested in all areas of General Practice, especially paediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics, chronic disease management and palliative care.
She has a special interest in Chronic Pain Management.
Dr Carley Francis

Dr Francis graduated from Griffith University in 2013. Before starting a career in general practice, Dr Francis worked extensively in the areas of obstetrics and gynaecology.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of family medicine, she has a special interest in women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr David Lai
F.R.A.C.G.P.
Dr Lai graduated from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has extensive experience in paediatrics, having worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital and in the paediatrics department of Gold Coast University Hospital for a total of 10 years.
He had worked at a Gold Coast medical practice for 12 years and has experience in all aspects of family medicine including minor surgery. Dr Lai speaks Mandarin Chinese.
Dr Rafia Amin
M.B., B.S.
Dr Amin graduated from the University of Health Sciences in Pakistan in 2011 and has work experience in both metro and rural hospitals, and in General Practice in Pakistan. She is currently undertaking specialist training to become a Fellow of RACGP and has been Practicing medicine in Australia since 2017. She has worked in Caboolture and Redland Hospitals. She has a deep interest in all aspects of family care including preventative health, with special Interest in women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr Katie Lomidze
Dr Lomidze graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical University, Republic of Georgia, Eastern Europe. Dr Lomidze was awarded the Specialist recognition in Paediatric Medicine in Georgia.
Dr Lomidze arrived in Australia in 2001 and since that time has been working at various roles in many rural, regional and metropolitan hospitals and General Practice surgeries. She is interested in all areas of General Practice, especially paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management and preventative health.
Dr Luke Pham
Dr Luke graduated from Griffith University in 2021 and has a strong passion for all aspects of general practice, with a particular focus on chronic health and preventative care.
Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Luke gained valuable experience at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Dr Luke values clear communication and is dedicated to taking the time to understand your concerns and work with you to achieve the best possible outcomes for your health.
Dr Maddison Furner
Dr Maddie graduated from Griffith University Medical School in 2020 and is a GP Registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Before transitioning into General Practice, Dr Maddie gained valuable experience working as a resident Medical Officer at Logan Hospital, Mater Hospital, Royal Darwin Hospital and Launceston General Hospital.
Dr Maddie is interested in all aspects of General Practice, and particularly enjoys paediatric medicine, preventative health and travel medicine.
When not at work, she enjoys discovering new trail runs, cycling and going on camping/hiking trips around SEQ.
